Join us for an early fall social trail run through the northern stands of Backus Woods.

Route Details

The short route will be flagged at key intersections for wayfinding. Those running the long route should download the GPX file for navigation.

Long Route: 8.2km (GPX)
Short Route: 5.8km (GPX)

Everyone is welcome, including hikers.

Need to run longer? Ask the group on Strava or Facebook! There’s often other people looking to put in some extra kms who will join you for another loop or two.

Important Information

You are a trail runner.  Trail runners must be self-sufficient. All runners/hikers are responsible for their own safety, including:

• Reviewing the course map and downloading the GPX files.

• Wayfinding while out on the course.

• Ensuring you have snacks, water, and a cell phone.

But above all: Help each other out. Cheer each other on. And have a great time out on the trails!
