Join us for the first Long Point Trail Club Thursday night workout. These structured workouts are designed for all paces and experience levels. Ultrarunning coach, Calantha Elsby, will lead the efforts, and we’ll wrap up with some post-run social time at a nearby restaurant or brewery.

Workout: Moderate hill repeats.

We’ll start with a 5-min dynamic warm-up, followed by a 1km group jog to the base of the hill.
Run up the hill at an RPE (rate of perceived exertion) of 7-8, and recover on the way down (looping across the top—see map). Complete a many hill repeats as you can within 30 minutes.
Regroup when you’re finished at the bottom of the hill.
We’ll complete a 1km cool-down jog back the way we came as a group and finish with some light stretching before heading to Wishbone for post-run drinks and snacks.
For walkers
If you want to walk instead, you can follow a similar route mapped here, noting you may finish before the rest of the group. Extend your walk longer by following the rail trail for an out-and-back. This route is great for people with strollers or kids on bikes.
